FutureBromley.co.uk is a project I worked on for Bromley Council. It is a competition for the 86 Primary Schools in Bromley to let their pupils enter online. There is a wordsearch for Key Stage 1, and a multiple choice quiz for Key Stage 2. I wanted it to be an exciting experience for the pupils without it becoming too big and taking a long time for a class of 30 to load all at the same time. The languages I used in this project were CSS, JavaScript and HTML brought together with PHP. For this project I used a lot of repeated images and a lot of the control that CSS can give. Also I made three different ways of viewing the site (listed below).

Another way I kept the download time down was by keeping my images small and compressed, all the images in the full version of the site (including logos) fits within 60KB and the simple version only shows the logos (26KB).
